Vanessa Gibson
Multi-disciplinary artist and maker Vanessa Gibson loves using pre-loved furniture as a canvas to draw and paint on, creating extreme upcycled pieces featuring song lyrics. She has developed a distinctive style which can also be seen in various mural and sculpture projects. Vanessa also sews fabric to create unique upcycled clothing, often experimenting with hand batik and applique techniques. Vanessa also makes slang artworks responding to found objects, as well as hand painted slang badges.
